Illinois USSSA 2005 Hall of Fame Inductee's
The Illinois USSSA has announced
the names of the individuals who will be inducted into their Hall
of Fame in November of 2005. The announcement was made as part
of the closing ceremonies of the 10th annual Illinois USSSA Induction
Banquet held at The Cliffbreakers in Rockford on Saturday November
6th, 2004.
The seven individuals will be inducted are Don Metz (Metz Tool)
from Rockford will be enshrined as a 'Sponsor'. Charlie Baumgartner
(The Lantern) from Naperville we go in as a 'Pioneer Player'.
John Wood (Town Hall) from Rockford will be inducted as a 'Male
Player'. Bill Sahagian (Kings) from Bartlett will be enshrined
as a 'Male Player. Carrol Stack (ZZ Fastener) from Champaign will
be inducted as a 'Female Player'. Irv Porter from Aurora will
be enshrined as an 'Umpire'. Ray Davis (umpire) from Rockford
will be inducted as a "Lifetime Achievement' recipient.
The 11th Annual Illinois USSSA Hall of fame Induction Banquet
will be held at The Cliffbreakers in Rockford in November of 2005.
