Short Bus Wins ISA Class C In Arlington Heights

Three Team Double Round Robin Format On April 9th

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS: Short Bus from Arlington Heights won the ISA Men's Class C World Qualifier played at Melas Fields in Arlington Heights on April 9th with a 3-1 record. The three team tournament was played in a double round robin format. Hogan's Roofing (2-2) from Crystal Lake finished in second place with Fusion (1-3) from Elgin taking home third place.
Short Bus started their day off on the wrong foot as they were beaten by Hogan's Roofing 2-15 in the opening game of this tournament. Short Bus rebounded to stop Fusion 20-10 in the second game to even their tournament record at one win against one loss.
Short Bus got a little revenge on Hogan's Roofing when they handed them a 30-15 loss to even the tournament at 2 win and one loss for both teams with each having one game to play against Fusion.
Short Bus won their game over Fusion 19-5 and now they were able to sit back and watch as Hogan's Roofing and Fusion took the field Fusion came home with the win to eliminate Hogan's Roofing giving the tournament title to Short Bus.
No information was received from either Short Bus or Hogan's Roofing on how they were able to finish first and second at this tournament by Illinois Softball Report.
