Roaddawgs/Heroes & Legends Win Cash In Wisconsin

Five Team Round Robin At Papa's Sports Bar In Salem, WI On July 23

SALEM, WI: Roaddawgs/Heroes & Legends from Joliet traveled to Salem Wisconsin on July 23rd and went undefeated at 4-0 to win the five team round robin formatted tournament held at Papa's Sports Bar.
In their opening game it was Roaddawgs/Heroes & Legends against the Wrecking Crew from Crystal Lake with the Joliet ball club edging out a narrow 3-2 victory behind the pitching of Terry McClintock and the hitting of Jason Montgomery who led the way with two key hits in this win.
In their second contest it was Roaddawgs/Heroes & Legends against Odie Sports from Wisconsin with the Illinois ball club coming out on top by a final score of 8-4. Joe Fleischauer flexed his muscles with a homer, among his four hits that included 3 RBI as teammate Bill Wax added three hits to the winning team's efforts.
In their third contest of this round robin formatted event it was Roaddawgs/Heroes & Legends playing against Shenanigan's from Wisconsin with the Road Dawgs/Heroes & Legends getting their offense cracked up in this game scoring twenty run as they won 20-5. The Roaddawgs/Heroes & Legends were led at the plate in this win by the hitting of Dave Johnson and Nick Lavezzi with four hits each in this game as their teammates and Bob Guajardo and Dave Weber chipped in the three RBI each during this win.
As luck would have it the final game of the round robin format pitted the two unbeaten team going head to head as Roaddawgs/Heroes & Legends squared off with G-Unit from Wisconsin with the game also meaning the title to this tournament for the victor. Roaddawgs/Heroes & Legends broke on top in the first inning scoring seven runs. The Joliet based ball club added six more runs in the second inning to put the game out of reach early as they used their defense from this point on to post a 16-12 victory onto the bracket board to claim the title undefeated. Offensively the Roaddawgs/Heroes & Legends were led in this game by the hitting of Guajardo with three hits, Dave Weber, added a homer with 4 RBI, Fleischauer had 3 RBI. On defense it was all started by the pitcher who plucked up the middle of the infield all day long giving hi steam a chance to let their offense do its job and win the game.
For the tournament Roaddawgs/Heroes & Legends were led by the hitting of Dave Johnson .571 with 7 RBI, Jason Montgomery .538, Bob Guajardo .538, Bill Wax .538, Joe Fleischauer .533 with 8 RBI and Dave Weber .500 with 7 RBI.
