finished in third place with Mad Jacks (1-3) from Minnesota taking
home fourth place.
The Kinder Sharks ball club opened tournament play with a big 22-5
win over the Minnesota Thunder-Boltzs from Minnesota in the first
round of this seven team event. In the second round the Kinder Sharks
met top seeded Diamond Queens from Tennessee and pull off the up
set by hanging a 13-2 defeat on the ladies from Tennessee to put
them into the winner's bracket finals on Saturday afternoon. The
Diamonds Queens received a first round bye to advance into this
game against Kinder Sharks.
In the game between the last two remaining unbeaten teams it was
Kinder Sharks over Incognito Women's Softball from Michigan by the
final score of 17-2 to put Kinder Sharks into Sunday's championship
game against whichever team that survives the loser's bracket to
earn the right to challenge them in the finals.
On Sunday the Kinder Sharks and Seattle Express took the field to
play the championship game and the ladies from Washington hung a
13-7 defeat on the Kinder Sharks to force the need to have the 'if
necessary game' played in order to determine which of these two
teams would be the champion.
In the deciding game Seattle Express jumped out to a big first inning
lead as they scored five runs in the top of the first inning. Kinder
Sharks came right back to plate eight huge runs in the bottom of
the first inning to make their own statement back to the ladies
from Washington. The Kinder Sharks continued to stretch out their
lead a little at a time as they pulled away to an 18-8 win to claim

against Incognito Women's Softball losing to them by a score of
3-2 to send them into the loser's bracket of this three game guarantee

and sent them packing after beating them 15-5 to advance in the
bracket. The Minnesota Thunder-Boltzs were up next with Seattle
Express posting another big win winning 17-7.
On Sunday morning with only four teams left in this tournament the
ladies from the state of Washington sent Mad Jacks to the parking
lot to pack their cars for the trip back home after beating them
13-3 to move forward in this tournament.
In the loser's bracket championship game Seattle Express took a
measure of revenge out on Incognito Women's Softball by eliminating
the team that had put them into the loser's bracket with an 14-8
win that also gave them the right to challenge unbeaten Kinder Sharks
in the title game of this tournament.
Seattle Express made their intentions known to the Kinder Sharks
ladies as they defeated the Georgia ball club 13-7 in the first
championship game to force the need to have the 'if necessary game'
played between these two ball clubs in order to determine which
of them would be the champion of this tournament.
Seattle Express started out with a big top of the first inning but
the Kinder Sharks answered with an even larger bottom of the first
inning. From this point on it was the Kinder Sharks slowly pulling
