HRC Win's ISA Men's Class D

Twelve Teams Participate at Dragons Dome Complex In Pekin on June 24th

PEKIN: HRC (5-0) ran the table on the field of twelve teams at the ISA Men's Class D double points World Tournament qualifier played at the Dragons Dome Complex in Pekin on June 24th. Players (6-2) finished in second place with Quinn's (3-2) taking home third place and Slick Ricks (2-2) finishing in fourth place.
HRC opened play with a pigtail game where they destroyed Corn-fed 15-0 in their opener. Next up was a hard fought game between HRC and the Hitmen with HRC coming out on top in a one run game 13-12. Next up for HRC was a contest with Slick Ricks and once again HRC won a close game edging out Slick Ricks by a final score of 14-12. In the game between the winner's bracket final two team it was HRC over powering Quinn's 17-9 to earn their spot in the tournament championship game against which ever team that emerge from the loser's bracket to oppose them in the title game. That team turned out to be Players who made strong run through the entire loser's bracket only to fall to the champions HRC 25-19 in the championship game.
Players made it to the title game by opening play with pigtail game also as the defeated Tom E. Rejects 15-0 to advance into the bracket. Players were rerouted into the loser's bracket by Slick Ricks after suffering a lopsided loss by the score of 23-5. Once in the loser's bracket Players got on a roll as they started to send home teams starting with the Jokers who were dismissed by a final score of 21-3. Next to exit this tournament at the hands of Players was Reloaded by the score of 25-14. Area Wide exited next after losing to Players 17-5. Now Players were giving a shot a little revenge over the team that had put them into the loser's bracket earlier in the day and they took it by punching Slick Ricks ticked to the parking lot 14-3. Now only Quinn's stood between layers and unbeaten HRC and once again Players were up to the task at hand as they excused Quinn's with third place after beating them 7-4 to earn their spot in the tournament championship game against HRC. Players continued their strong hitting ion the championship game pouring nineteen runs across the pay-station but it was not enough as HRC won the game 25-19 over Players to send players back home with second place from this tournament.
