Hooded Frogs Win Nate Buddy Class C

Six Team ISA Qualiifer Played At Lippold Park In Crystal Lake

CRYSTAL LAKE: The Hooded Frogs from Bridgeview bounced back from a rough Saturday going 0-2 in 'Pool Play' to win three straight games on Sunday in the ISA Men's Class C 'Nate Buddy Tournament' held at Lippold Park in Crystal Lake on March 29th & 30th to take home the title. On Q / Hennessey's from Crystal Lake finished second after going 1-1 in 'Pool Play' on Saturday before winning two straight games on Sunday to get into the championship game against the Hooded Frogs.
Both 'Pool Play' champions P.D.R. from Rockford and Shockers / DLB from Janesville, WI, finished in a third place tie.
On Saturday the Hooded Frogs opened play with a 22-15 loss to On Q / Hennessy's to open pool play. Later that morning the Hooded Frogs tangled with Shockers /DLB and came out on the short end of scoring to finish Saturday at 0-2 and third place from their pool.
On Sunday afternoon the Hooded Frogs stopped Full Tilt Softball from Naperville 7-0 to advance into the semifinal of this six-team single elimination tournament.
In their second contest on Sunday the Hooded Frogs slipped past the Shockers / DLB 17-16 to gain a measure of revenge for one of their two losses from Saturday.
In the championship game it was the Hooded Frogs over ON Q / Hennessey's 26-10 to give the Bridgeview ball club the title and also gaining revenge over the other team that had beaten them in 'pool play' on Saturday.
On Q / Hennessy's opened 'Pool Play' on Saturday with a 25-15 loss to the Shockers / DLB to start their day off on the wrong note.
In their second game On Q / Hennessy's bounced back to post a win onto the bracket board as they defeated the Hooded Frogs 22-15 to earn second place in their pool.
On Sunday afternoon On Q / Hennessey's opened play with a 20-10 win over Yep from Lockport to advance into the semifinal of the six team single elimination tournament.
On Q / Hennessy's than defeated P.D.R. 17-7 to move into the championship game.
On Q Hennessy's could not get it dine in the title game losing to the Hooded Frogs 26-10 to finish in second place at this season opening ISA Men's Class C 'Nate Buddy Tournament.
