Dynasty Softball opened tournament play with a first round game
against Seek & Destroy from Shorewood and posted a 4-2 win onto
the bracket board to advance in the winner's bracket. Seek &
Destroy Softball had to have won a play in game to get into the
bracket by stopping McCoy Tire / I-55 Auto from Joliet 18-6 to earn
the right to play Dynasty Softball in the first round of tournament
action.
In the second round of tournament play it was Dynasty Softball taking
on and defeating Extreme from Aurora 9-1 to advance them in to Sunday
morning's semifinal of the winner's bracket. Xtreme had won their
first round game over the Big Hitters to advance into this second
round match-up against Dynasty Softball.
On Sunday morning after an hour rain delay from the over night downpour
to get the fields in playable condition Dynasty Softball and OBP
Borowiak Insurance went toe to toe with the Joliet ball club getting
the better of it winning 15-5 to put Dynasty Softball into the winner's
bracket undefeated game on Sunday afternoon. OBP Borowiak Insurance
made it to this semifinal game of the winner's bracket by opening
play on Saturday with a 7-5 win over the Aurora Turner Club in a

morning semifinal round of the winner's bracket and a game with
Dynasty Softball.
In the final game of the winner's bracket the last two remaining
unbeaten teams squared off with one another in the battle to determine
which of them would win the winner's bracket and when that last
out had been recorded into the official score's book the score board
read 9-8 in favor Dynasty Softball as the Joliet ball club became
the only remaining unbeaten team left in this tournament.
Now Dynasty Softball had to sit and wait until the loser's bracket
had been played out t its conclusion before knowing which team would
emerge as their challenger in the championship game. After all play
in the loser's racket was complete a rematch with G-Force Labels
was on tap in the title game for Dynasty.
