Creative Design Wins Cash At Arlington Heights

Six Teams In Cash Tournament At Melas Fields On August 6th

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS: Six teams participated at the Arlington Heights cash tournament on August 6th at Melas Fields in a three game guarantee format with Creative Design going 4-0 to take home the top cash prize. Chicago Steel (2-2) finished in second place; Cluster Fuxx (3-2) was third with Fusion (3-2) finishing in fourth place at this event.
Only a bracket without individual game scores was received by Illinois Softball Report in order to write this article.
Creative Design drew a first round game against Happy Endings and posted a victory on to the bracket board to advance into the second round where they met and defeated Die Hard to move into the tournament's undefeated game of the winner's bracket. Die Hard had received a first round bye in this six team event to move into their second round contest with Creative Design.
In the game between the last two remaining unbeaten team it was Creative Design defeating Chicago Steel to win the winner's bracket.
Now Creative Design had to wait until he loser's bracket was finished before they would know who would be their opponent in the championship game and that team turned out to be a rematch with the Chicago Steel ball club.
Creative Design complete their undefeated run to the top cash prize from this tournament by turning aside Chicago Steel in the championship game to win this tournament undefeated.

Tournament runner up Chicago Steel opened tournament play with a first round bye before taking on and defeating Fusion in the second round of play. Fusion made it to this second round showdown with Chicago Steel by opening the tournament with a first round win over Cluster Fuxx.
This win put Chicago Steel into the winner's bracket finals where they met and were defeated by Creative Design sending Chicago Steel into the loser's bracket where they now needed to run off three straight win in order to leave with the top cash prize from this tournament.
Chicago Steel now tangled with Cluster Fuxx and when the game was over found themselves leading on the scoreboard to post a win up onto the bracket board to move them into the finals of this cash tournament.
This was as close as Chicago Steel would get on this day to the top cash prize as Creative Design defeated them to send them home with second place.
