Next up for the Bucketheads was a game with Roundhouse and the Bucketheads
caught momentum during this game winning going away 22-6 over the
Roadhouse to advance into a semi-final contest of the winner's bracket.
The Roadhouse made it to this game with the Bucketheads by opening

In the battle between the tournaments last two remaining unbeaten
teams the Bucketheads took the field with the Lemonheads occupying
the other dugout. In a game that was won on the strength of the
Bucketheads defense they handed the Lemonheads a 5-0 loss to put
themselves into the tournament's championship game against whichever
team that would emerge from the loser's bracket to challenge them
for the 2006 title to the North vs South Sixteen Inch Challenge.
The Lemonhead made it to the winner's bracket undefeated game by
opening lay on Thursday evening with a 17-7 win over Steel Gold.
On Saturday night the Lemonheads sent Wallace to the loser's bracket
after beating them 17-1. Next the Lemonheads tangles with the Miller
Forty-fives and came away with an 10-2 win to put them into Sunday's
Semifinal game with March Manufacturing. The Lemonheads continued
to roll as they stopped March Manufacturing 9-4 to put them into
the winner's bracket finals and a date with the Bucketheads.
When the loser's bracket play was complete it was the Miller Forty-fives
who earned their way back into the championship game to challenge
the Bucketheads for the 2006 title. IN a close game it was the Bucketheads
edging out the Miller Forty-fives 4-3 to claim their title at the
2006 North vs South Sixteen Inch Classic.
The Miller Forty-fives made it to the title game by taking the long
way around through the loser's bracket. On Friday night the Miller
Forty-fives opened play with a big 20-6 win over the Young Guns.
On Saturday night they continued to roll as they stopped Jelly clod

Lemonheads. Jelly had stopped the Hanger 9-6 on Thursday night to

It was here that the Miller Forty-fives stub their toe losing to
the Lemonheads 10-2 to drop them into the loser's bracket where
they now need to travel the long road back to get to the title game.
On Sunday morning it was the Miller Forty-fives against Maxim in
game that many thought might be the championship game but today
it was a loser's bracket game with the Miller Forty-fives winning
17-6 to advance. Next op for the Miller Forty-fives was a game with
Nemesis as the Miller Forty-fives continued to roll winning big
15-2 to continue their march towards the championship game.

17-2.
Now with only four teams left in the tournament the Miller Forty-fives
and Binge went at it as the Miller Forty-fives continue to score
lots of runs while using their stingy defense to hold down their
opponents as they won again by a final score of 13-3 over Binge.
This win enabled the Miller Forty-fives to have a shot at taking
some revenge over the team that had put them into the loser's bracket
the night before, the Lemonheads. The Miller Forty-fives came out
focused on the goal at hand and took their pound of flesh from the
Lemonhead defeating them 14-4 to earn the right to challenge the
Bucket head in the championship game.
But this was as close as they would get as the Bucketheads used
their own strong defensive team effort to stop the Miller Forty-fives
scoring machine as they posted a 4-3 win over the Miller Forty-fives
to claim this year's championship and send the Miller Forty-fives
home in second place.
