2005 Tournament Schedule

National Tournaments
Class D Salem, Virginia Sept. 1-5
Class C Valdosta, Georgia Sept. 1-5
Class B Montgomery, Alabama Sept. 1-5

Rules

1. Entries must be received by Thursday before tournament.
2. Only cash or money orders will be accepted Day of Tournament.
3. All tournaments will be progressive money tournaments. All money paid out after each game.
4. Progressive money tournaments: Every game you win, you receive Money!
5. All tournaments are NITs.
6. Any Team that qualifies to go to the Nationals MUST play in the metro.
7. IN addition to the money you win in each tournament, you will receive points. The top 2 C and D class team point leaders will receive additional prize money at the end of the year.
8. Only teams that play in an ASA Registered League are eligible to play in the qualifiers.

Roster Rules
1. Players may only play with one team during any tournament schedule. Player's whose team is not going to play in the metro, may be picked up by teams that are.
2. You may turn in only one roster. Rosters must be turned in prior to playing in your first qualifier. NOTE: This roster cannot be altered in anyway until metro. At this time you may add up to 3 players.
3. Once a player plays in a qualifier, he is frozen on that team until metro.
Classifications
1. All teams can request to be classified
2. Send letter and your roster to: ASA P.O. Box 536 Tinley Park, IL 60477
3. Any one not requesting a certain classification, will automatically be classified by the ASA Classification Committee .
Awarding of Points
1. 2 Points for entering a tournament
2. 2 Points for each win in the Losers Bracket
3. 5 Points for each win the Winners Bracket
4. 5 Points for each 3rd Place finish
5. 7 Points for each 2nd Place finish
6. 10 Points for each 1st Place finish
7. Any D Classified team that plays in a C Tournament receives Double points for that tournament
8. Points transform to Money! Top point winner will receive $3 for every point earned. 2nd Place will receive $2 per point.
9. All point money will be paid after the Metro
10. Metro will a double point tournament.
