of play to advance into the winner's bracket undefeated game. Fabri
Tek had defeated Mickey's Grill and Pub / Newstar from Joliet 12-7
to advance into this second round game with Ambrosia Bar & Grill.
IN the game that featured the last two remaining unbeaten teams
left in this tournament it were Ambrosia Bar & Grill and Alfa's
with Ambrosia Bar & Grill winning 10-4 to give them the championship
to the winner's bracket in this tournament. Now Ambrosia Bar &
Grill had to sit and wait until the loser's bracket played had been
complete before knowing which of the remaining teams would emerge
as their challenger in the championship game. When the loser's bracket
was completed it was Collins Street Auto Parts / 3rd Base stepping
forward to meet Ambrosia Bar & Grill in the title game. Collins
Street Auto Parts / 3rd Base continued on their hot streak as the
handed Ambrosia Bar & Grill a 10-4 loss to force the need to
have the 'if necessary game' played between these two ball clubs
in order to determine which of them would be the champion of this
tournament. The extra game went in favor of Ambrosia as they claimed
the top prize from this event by stopping the streaking Collins
Street Auto Parts / 3rd Base ball club 17-14 in the deciding game
of this tournament.
Tournament runner-up Collins Street Auto Parts / 3rd Base started
their Saturday morning off with a 14-8 win over the Big Easy Bar

Parts / 3rd Base stumbled as they were defeated by Alfas 12-1 to
drop them into the loser's bracket for the remainder of this tournament.
Collins Street Auto Parts / 3rd Base went to work and started to
send team to the parking lot starting with Mickey's Grill &
Pub / Newstar by a final score of 15-0. Fabri Tek was excused nest
when Collins Street Auto Parts / 3rd Base pounded out another win
beating them 13-1. A rematch with the Big Easy Bar & Grill was
on tap next for Collins Street Auto Parts / 3rd Base as they won
again sending their opponent to the parking lot to pack their cars
for the trip back home after beating them 15-10. Now Collins Street
Auto Parts / 3rd Base was playing in the loser's bracket championship
game with Alfas as their opponent and Collins Street Auto Parts
/ 3rd Base continued to hit the ball scoring twelve runs as they
won again by a final score of 12-2 to advance into the championship
game where they needed to upend unbeaten Ambrosia Bar & Grill

/ 3rd Base took the field with that intention in mind and pounded
the ball some more winning 10-4 to force the need to play the 'if

determine which of them would be the champion from this tournament.
