2007 Byron Fest Womens' C/D

Mood Swing took the long way around in getting to the championship game as they dropped their opening game to LPH Softball 12-6. Now playing from the loser's bracket Mood Swings got things going as they started to send team after team to the parking lot to pack their cars for the trip back home starting with Tru-Value from Rockford winning 15-2 on Saturday afternoon. Playing again on Saturday afternoon the Mood Swings eliminated Double D's 12-1 for their second win and they finished off their Saturday afternoon with a 22-10 win over Wow to earn them the right to play on Sunday at the 2007 'Byron Fest' women's tournament.
On Sunday morning Mood Swings and Culvers met up to start the day off with Mood Swings earning another teams scalp winning a close game 3-2.
Later on Sunday morning Mood Swings and Rainbow Separation met up with Mood Swings winning 14-9 to continue their advancement through the loser's bracket.
On Sunday afternoon Mood Swings and Walsh Electrical Consultants, Inc. square off with one another and the Mood Swings ball club continued to roll winning 12-4 to earn them the right to play the Sharks with the winner of this game earning the right to play undefeated Add-A-Bath / Demarini for the title to teh2007 'Byron Fest ' women's championship.
The Mood Swings found another win in their bat bags as they edged the Sharks in a close one run game 14-13 to win the loser's bracket and give them a shot at playing the unbeaten Add-A-Bath / Demarini ball club in the championship game.
Mood Swings got off to an early lead in the title game, but Add-A-Bath / Demarini gained the upper hand and never looked back as they won 19-9 over Mood Swings to send the Schaumburg ladies home with second place from this years 'Byron Fest' women's championship tournament.
