Creative Design Wins ISA Class C In Arlington Heights

Five Teams Participate At Melas Fields On April 22nd

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS: Creative Design (3-0) from Countryside won the ISA Men's Class C, five team tournament by going undefeated. Players, Inc (3-2) from Chicago took home second place with the Hooded Frogs ((2-2) from Bridgeview finishing in third place.
Creative Design opened play with a first round contest against Full Tilt Softball and came away with a 22-15 victory to advance into the undefeated game where they met and defeated Players, Inc 22-16.
Creative Design now got to sit back and wait as the loser's bracket need to be played out before they would know who their opponent would be in the championship game. When the dust from the loser's bracket settled back down onto the field of play Creative Design was facing a rematch with Players, Inc for the title.
Creative Design went about their business as they won by a large margin with the final score on the score board reading Creative Design 23 and Players Inc. 8.
Players, Inc. made it to the championship game by playing a pigtail game against the Hooded Frogs to open tournament action and they posted an impressive 16-1 win onto the bracket board to advance in the tournament. Game number two for Players, Inc was a 14-10 win over the Brass Restaurant putting Players Inc. into the undefeated game.
In the battle between the tournaments last two remaining unbeaten teams Players Inc came out on the short end of a 22-16 score dropping them into the loser's bracket where they needed to defeat the Hooded Frogs for a second time to earn another chance at playing Creative Design. Players Inc did just that stopping the Hooded Frogs by a final score of 13-4 to earn that second chance at Creative Design.
Players, Inc. dream of come back through the loser's bracket to double dip Creative Design and win the tournament ended with a 23-8 loss to Creative Design sending Players Inc. home with second place from this event.
