2006 Illinois USSSA Hall of Fame

The Illinois USSSA Hall of Fame Induction Banquet will be held October 28, 2006 at Cliff breaker Restaurant & Suites in Rockford. Inductees include; Carol Stack, Champaign – Female Player, Don Belcher, Sponsor from Manteno, Sonnies Vercelotti, Stone City VFW, Pioneer Organizer – Mark Austin – Town Hall, Player – John “Stumpy” Kramer, Mokena, Player and Ron Lindenberg, Steeleville, Meritorious Category. Members of the Park Town Hall, Men’s Class B team from Loves Park will be entered into the Illinois USSSA Hall of Honor. This celebrates the 25th Anniversary since they won the Central Division Class B Divisional Championship in Milwaukee, WI in 1981. And teams to be recognized who won National Championships on Labor Day Weekend; Blackhawk Athletic Club, Women’s Class C Great Lakes National Champions, KA Softball – Men’s Class B National Champions and Hood Frogs/Bridgeview Sports Dome – Great Lakes Class C National Champions.
