Chicago 16" Hall Of Fame - continued

The former late Chicago Metro ASA Commissioner, Charlie Jensen was honored next in the Organizers Category of the 16" Hall Of Fame for his work in promoting the game of softball which included the starting of the ASA 16" National Tournament.
Also honored as an 'Organizer' was John 'Jack' Ratkovic who was the park district supervisor from Kelly Park in Chicago and he played a major role in acquiring lights for the fields in the Chicago Park District.
The champions of the Chicago 16" Hall Of Fame annual tournament played at Grant Park in Chicago were honored next with plagues that included their team photo on them. The champions were Licorice in the open division, Modesto in the corporate division, Juicers in the co-ed division, Prime Time in the women's division and Out Of Touch in the over 40 division.
Plague will hang in the Chicago 16" Hall Of Fame honoring the 2001 Forest Part Champions, Miller 45's. Also the Miller 45's will have a second plague, as they were also the 2001 ASA National Champions. The Rebels earned a plague also for winning the ASA Class A Nationals, as did McDivots who won the NSA Class A World Tournament.
Three teams were also inducted into the Chicago 16" Hall Of Fame. The OJ's women's team, Kuppenheimer Senators and the Lyons 45's all now reside in the Hall Of Fame for their accomplishments on the field that will stand the test of time.
The program concluded with the Hall Of Fame Raffle drawing and the announcements of the 'Silent Auction winners by Art Lurie.
